I started at Swamp Records as a freshman photographer with a passion for music and media, excited to support Gainesville’s local scene. Through consistent creative contributions and a strong understanding of music marketing, I quickly took on more responsibility, eventually becoming a marketing team member, multimedia lead for artist teams, and later President of the entire organization where I now oversee creative, financial, artist, marketing, research and event teams. Swamp has been the heartbeat of my college experience, where I’ve grown from a content creator into a creative leader who now mentors others and shapes the label’s direction. I’ve worked hands-on with artists, directed TikTok campaigns, run viral PR stunts, led photo/video shoots, and now oversee our executive board. So far, I’ve organized 20 live shows and events for 4,000+ total attendees, overseeing day-of logistics, talent coordination, and overall event execution to ensure a positive audience experience.

During this internship, I supported artist marketing and legacy management initiatives with a primary focus on projects for the Tom Petty Estate. I tracked artist sales and streaming performance using Chartmetric and Music Connect to identify catalog trends and inform promotional strategy. I also collaborated on archival research and cataloging alongside the Tom Petty Estate Archivist, helping preserve and organize historical materials. In addition, I designed and organized branded promotional assets for campaigns and events, including a special screening of Somewhere You Feel Free: The Making of Wildflowers at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles celebrating Tom Petty’s 75th birthday. Alongside these projects, I maintained a legacy artist sync request database, tracking licensing terms and request status to support ongoing placements.

At The Agency, I've conducted social listening and competitive research to inform actionable marketing strategies, including analyzing customer reviews across multiple platforms for a healthcare client to develop a tailored plan of action. I also worked with a team to execute in-depth keyword research and mapping using Semrush to identify high-volume, low-competition opportunities that strengthened SEO efforts, and tracked and reported on email marketing performance to provide insights that optimized campaign engagement.

At Degy, I specialized in booking and sales especially within the parks and recreation market, focusing on colleges, venues, and event spaces. I researched and identified prospective clients to create new booking opportunities, helping to connect artists and entertainers with the right audiences. I participated regularly in weekly booking calls and strategy meetings, contributing insights based on performance metrics and assisting with planning upcoming events. This role sharpened my skills in client outreach, market research, data-mining and collaborative team communication in a fast-paced environment.

At New Tomorrow Music Group, I researched and identified up-and-coming artists and producers across a variety of genres to find promising talent for potential publishing deals. My role involves reaching out directly to these artists and producers to understand their needs, build relationships, and explore how New Tomorrow can support their careers. I actively work to connect with clients and negotiate deals, aiming to help both the artists grow and the company expand its roster.
